Adding Tables and Creating a Shapefile

In the process of digitizing a map easier if we add the reference point using tables. Here are the steps:

1. Open ArcView 3.3 or any other version
2. Open the project file
3. Click the tables in the main window and then click add on the top right corner
4. Find the file table berektensi *. Dbf in your directory
5. then click ok
6. following table appear kemdian file click view on the main toolbar> add event theme
7. sure textfield on table contains the name of the file that had been opened, the x field enter Longitude and Latitude fill the field y
8. then click ok
9. give a check on the file name in the window table view
10. to make a table to shapefile click way to theme on the main toolbar and select connect to Shapefile ....
11. place the shapefile in the directory you> click ok
12. when there is a warning then click NO
13. when they appear convert to shapefile then press Yes
14. give a check in the new file
