How to use commands in MapInfo
Basically MapInfo command module and can be accessed in many ways, with the menu bar, toolbar, shortcut menu, shortcut key and through basic map window. here's how to enable the layer control:
1. Activate Window map, choose Map> Layer Control
2. Or click Layer Control on the toolbar to play toolbar
3. Or Move the pointer on the map window, then right-click> Layer Control
4. Or use the keyboard by pressing Ctrl + L
to find information about the tool is that we will use:
1. Information on the status bar and tooltips will appear when we put the pointer over the image tool
2. Through the MapInfo Help by clicking Help> MapInfo Professional help topics and then select the information required

how to make a line (railroads, highways, etc.) in a region

1. Open ArcView application
2. Import raster map image
3. Once the image is open and add new themes in a way
Menu View> New Theme
4. Select the Feature type to Line and then OK
5. Arrange a place to store theme files then OK
6. then select the Draw tool (Draw Line)
7. Click on a region to be marked as railway, highway or the boundary of a region
8. Once completed then select
theme menu> stop Editing

1. download tool registers "transform.avx" first
2. copy tool registers "transform.avx" into the installation as "C: \ ESRI \ AV_GIS30 \ ArcView \ EXT32"
3. Open ArcView
4. open a new view> Doc Project> TOC> select List View (double-click/tekan New button)> will display the document View1
5. jpg extension add and register by clicking File> Extensions then check in "JPEG (JFIF) Image Support" and "Register and Transform Tool"
6. enter data / raster map images in a way menu view> Add Theme
7. search the directory to store raster map
8. after opening raster maps give a point of reference to which there are four coordinates have been determined (give a reference point to the intersection of longitude and latitude to form 4 points)
9. note the reference point in x (longitude) and y (latitude)
10. convert from DMS (Degree Minute Second) in DD (Decimal Degree)
11. click menu view> regiter and transform> Registers window will then appear and Transform
12. click on the tool point source located in the middle of the> mark the points in a clockwise direction
13. after marking add destination using the results that had been sought out and make sure the state of the edit mode
14. after rms error is <12:14 then select the file and then place the world write to existing directory
15. then load raster map and world map in arcview

MapInfo has facilities such as spacial cartridges for databases, routing, geocording, location analysis, risk analysis, market analysis, demographic analysis, web services, and other GIS tools.
These products include GIS desktop MapInfo, MapInfo Professional, MapXtreme 2005 and MapXtreme Java for web-based and desktop mapping.

Integrated Land and Water Information System (ILWIS) is a data processing software based Geographic Information System (GIS). ILWIS is used as a means of inputting data, the data management and data analysis to produce output in the form of geographical data in a region. This software is made by the International Institute for Aerospace Survey and Earth Sciences, the Netherlands.

Model data in ILWIS divided into vector and raster data. In ILWIS software there are two major components and WIndows ILWIS ILWIS object.

ILWIS WIndows consists of main windows, folder windows, tables windows and pixel information. Main Windows is the main window that serves as the main control of all the activities this ILWIS software. Main windows there is a menu bar, command line, catalog, operation and operation tree list, navigator, standard toolbar, object selection toolbars, status bars. Windows folder is a window that contains data in the form of vector and raster as the input data. Windows table contains data in tabular form the information of spatial data or attribute data. While the pixel information contains information about classes, IDs, attributes of the spatial data.

ILWIS object contains a data object, container objects and spacial object. ILWIS object data consists of spatial data and attribute data. Spatial data contains point folder, folder segment, polygon and raster map folder located in windows folder. While the data attributes that are formed from the table and lies on the table window. Container object is a reference list of a number of data objects. And spacial object contains the histogram, sample sets, 2-dim tables, matrices, filters, function, scripts and stereo pairs.

The software is also compatible with other GIS software such as ArcView can be opened directly in this ILWIS software.
